Life Change

Experience a Life Change!

Maybe you've come to this website looking for answers to your questions about God. What many people don't know is that God created us for Himself and He has made a way for us to know him personally. You can experience the change that God can make in your life by simply following the plan He has given us in the Bible.

Life Change is as simple as ABCD.

a. something to Admit.

The Bible says every person fails God. Romans 3:23 says, "For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard." Even though we are created in God's image, we chose to disobey God. Because of our sin, we deserve separation from God and eternal death. The Bible says in Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord."

b. something to believe.

We can never be good enough on our own to make up for our sin. We need a Savior! Jesus came to be our Savior. Simply acknowledging a need doesn't solve the problem of sin. The Bible says that in order to receive the gift of salvation and the forgiveness of sins we must believe that Jesus died for us! John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

C. Something to COnfess.

It's only by asking Christ to forgive us and turning from our life of sin that we receive forgiveness. The moment we ask Christ to be Lord of our lives, we receive the promise of eternal life with Him in heaven. Romans 10:9-10 tells us, "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

Here's a simple prayer: "Jesus, I realize I have sinned and need a Savior. Please forgive me and change my life. I choose to follow you from this day forward, so that I can spend forever with You. In Jesus Name. Amen.

D. Something to do.

Being a Christian means more than just saying a prayer. When real faith begins in the heart of a person it is revealed through action. Now that you have begun your journey, it's time to grow in your faith. He calls you to become His disciple and follow Him. This is not a journey to earn His favor; He already loves you as much as He can. Following Jesus is living a life of eternal purpose and meaningful worship to God.

Here are some great ways to grow in your faith:

1. Spend time with God daily. Start with 5 minutes.

2. Read the Bible. Start with the Gospel of John.

3. Attend church and get connected. Others will encourage your faith
